Tools GUI per gestire un’installazione CORE di Windows Server 2008/R2

Per tutti coloro che sono abituati a gestire il mondo windows tramite interfaccia grafica (la cosiddetta GUI) ecco un tools per poter gestire e configurare tramite una console di gestione un’installazione CORE (modalità testo) di Windows Server 2008/2008 R2.Il tool si chiama Core Configurator 2.0: si tratta di un progetto Codeplex (community open-source di Microsoft) che ci permette di effettuare i seguenti task via una semplice interfaccia grafica:

- Share Creation and Deletion
- Dynamic Firewall settings
- Display | Screensaver Settings
- Add & Remove Drivers

- Windows Updates (Including WSUS)
- Multipath I/O
- Hyper-V including virtual machine thumbnails
- JoinDomain and Computer rename
- Add/remove programs
- Services
- WinRM
- Complete logging of all commands executed
